That's a quote from a YouTube review of this song. It's a testament to the story and the quality of the lyrics.

I'm a huge fan of this band and Nickleback's "Never again" is a powerful anthem for people who have experienced domestic violence and have vowed to not experience it again. From a child's viewpoint, it's a graphic description of his mother's abuse and her fight to survive. I intentionally didn't use the band's concert video of this because this song, and its lyrics, stand on their own. Turn it up. Loud.
